Creative CV
I recently attended an interview for BA Interior Design course where I am looking forward in finishing my degree.
I was asked to produce a creative CV for my interview to describe myself and this is the final outcome.
I decided to include things that describe my personally the best way, I thought of things I own, things I would like own and achieve in life, places I have visited and places I would like to visit.
I know it looks a lot like a fashion based mood board but mu choosing these ideas, shapes and colours I think the creative CV/mood board screams out my personality.
15 minutes into the interview the course leader/tutor definitely agreed that the CV was is interesting and definitely described me as a person, so I guess mission accomplished.
P.S I got on the course J

Gucci on the High Street ???
So after I have blogged about the Spring Summer Gucci line 2012 I have spotted a dress in River Island that you can just tell the design was tuck from the Gucci line (Art Deco design) I think by the end of the season you will see this style all over the high street.

And this is the reminder of the Gucci line 2012
Doc XL sofa by Clei stylish and convertible
These days many new built homes on the market seem to be built with smaller bedrooms, if you need two beds in a bedroom, then it’s a problem with space. But with the Doc XL sofa from Clei the space should be no problem. This Doc XL sofa transforms into stylish bunk beds.

Space saving furniture that transforms 1 room into 2 or 3
Great ideas saving space, very ideal in small city apartments especially in those big cities where every inch of space counts.

Gucci spring summer 2012 collection
I am currently at the stage of finishing Foundation Degree in Interior Architectural Design and for my final project I have been inspired by Gucci Spring Summer Collection 2012.
I am redesigning an interior space and creating new us for an existing building in Newcastle Upon Tyne (Pilgrim St Fire Station) the Gucci s/s like reminds me of Art Deco Style which I would like to introduce to my interior design.
These are the colours and shapes that inspire me for the interior space of the hotel that I am designing for my final project. Wednesday, 14 March 2012
Luxury Baths from around the world
I read this quote from Susan Glasse and thought I really must share it with you. When life gets a little too hectic or even too dull a long wallow in a luxurious hot bath makes all cares, worries, aches and pains just float away. Yep I agree with all that! Rub a dub dub how much is your tub?
I read also that Jonathan Ross once spent £40,000 on an egg shaped, ivory stone bath. It set me wondering… just how much money are we prepared to pay for our daily bath?
If you drive the world most expensive car and use the worlds most expensive gadgets, why not treat yourself to the world’s most expensive bath too. A mere snip at £530,000 is the crystal bath tub. Carved from a single slab of rock unearthed from the Amazonian rain forest, this bath designed by Luca Bojola took 6 months to carve and fits up to 3 people. Pop up to Harrods and you might catch it still on show.
If you fancy a bath shaped like a boat and only have £111,000 to spend! Then the hand carved bath made from malachite with its own solid 24 carot gold clawed feet is for you.
£50,000 will buy a beautiful hand crafted solid copper bath. 5 foot long and 3 foot wide it is unquestioningly the centre piece of any bathroom.
