Gucci spring summer 2012 collection

I am currently at the stage of finishing Foundation Degree in Interior Architectural Design and for my final project I have been inspired by Gucci Spring Summer Collection  2012.
I am redesigning an interior space and creating new us for an existing building in Newcastle Upon Tyne (Pilgrim St Fire Station) the Gucci s/s like reminds me of Art Deco Style which I would like to introduce to my interior design.
These are the colours and shapes that inspire me for the interior space of the hotel that I am designing for my final project.

Luxury Baths from around the world

I read this quote from Susan Glasse and thought I really must share it with you.  When life gets a little too hectic or even too dull a long wallow in a luxurious hot bath makes all cares, worries, aches and pains just float away. Yep I agree with all that!  Rub a dub dub how much is your tub?

I read also that Jonathan Ross once spent £40,000 on an egg shaped, ivory stone bath. It set me wondering… just how much money are we prepared to pay for our daily bath?
If you drive the world most expensive car and use the worlds most expensive gadgets, why not treat yourself to the world’s most expensive bath too.  A mere snip at £530,000 is the crystal bath tub. Carved from a single slab of rock unearthed from the Amazonian rain forest, this bath designed by Luca Bojola took 6 months to carve and fits up to 3 people. Pop up to Harrods and you might catch it still on show.

If you fancy a bath shaped like a boat and only have £111,000 to spend!  Then the hand carved bath made from malachite with its own solid 24 carot gold clawed feet is for you.

£50,000 will buy a beautiful hand crafted solid copper bath. 5 foot long and 3 foot wide it is unquestioningly the centre piece of any bathroom.

ECO-Friendly Alpine Pods

The pods were designed to support trekking and skiing expeditions, but they still look like a spectacular place to spent some time (even if just to admire the views).
Each pod is built off site, and airlifted into place by helicopter. They're also completely self-sufficient the photovoltaic film on top provides all the necessary energy. Finally, each pod is made of ecologically certified materials and is designed to leave no footprint  when it's time to move, the pod is just lifted away again.

John Yates ODEChair

Many solid, old-fashioned rocking chairs are constructed to last for generations. Yet since often these chairs are very clunky and inelegantly designed. Jolyon Yates' Series 3 ODEChair which comes in two alternatives, the Savannah Rocker III and Ocean Rocker III— re-imagines the classic rocking chair in a way that satisfies our eco-conscious and design-savvy inclinations.

Yates creates such pieces while keeping earth-friendly, using renewable birch from Scandinavia and low-impact glues and finishes. It's the new, old-fashioned rocking chair; and you'll be happy to have it last forever.

Moss Mats, Grass Beds and Green Walls

This bathroom mat starts with an imputrescible foam called plastazote. Several types of moss are implanted in the cells of foam (a total of 70 pieces measuring 2.4 in. each) and live happily there as long as you shower often enough to get keep it moist while you towel off.
Its designer, Nguyen La Chanh, from Switzerland, says the mat is very relaxing and needs little care.

Swarovski crystal stair case on the Champs Elysee

One of the visits in Paris was to the Swarovski store on the Champs Elysee. This staircase definitely makes your eyes sparkle when you look at it.
